| The SWA Series is a Spring Balancer with unique a safety device. If the bottom hook or the attachment of the tool or weight fails, the safety device engages the cable and locks in in position. This stops the cable from returning to the unit at an uncontrollable speed. |

| The design of the SWA Series has been perfected into the most advanced Spring Balancer available. The enclosed design of an Aluminum Die Cast Body and cover plate for greater strength, safety of the operator and a smooth powder coat finish. Within the die cast body is the Tapered designed drum to provide effortless operation when the wire rope is extended or retrieved. The vertical positioning of the spring tension allows easy adjustment of the balancer whilst in the operating position. The upper top hook is forged and fitted with a safety spring and also swivels 360 degrees. The bottom hook is high strength alloy steel for the proper securing of tools and equipment. On the top of the balancer is a secondary support cable point where a safety chain can be attached in the unlikely failure of the top hook. |
