The Sugar Mill Tube Cleaner is a self contained portable unit mounted on a 3 wheeled trolley. The unit incorporates a directly coupled, totally enclosed squirrel cage, 2800 rpm, continuously rated electric motor. The machine is controlled by a push button starter which is provided with three thermal adjustable overload relays.
When selecting the size of the motor it is important to take into consideration the length of the flexible shaft to be used. |

The flexible shaft transmits constant torque from the drive motor to the to the connected tool within the tube.
INNER CORE - The inner core is double wound in opposing layers made out of high tensile spring steel wire and is then passed through stress relieving processes to achieve a totally vibration free performance and continuous duty.
OUTER CASING - The outer casing is flexible, made from the finest galvanized steel strip and provided with a special steel anti friction lining for the entire length.
CONNECTIONS - A suitable motor connection at one end and a detachable ball bearing hand piece (tool Holder) with a threaded spindle for tool connections at the working end of the flexible shaft. |
